This text fills in the gaps left in KD1, R 39, facsimile, pp. 578–579. G. I. Antonov [first name unknown], the head of the central NKVD apparatus in the Krivoy Rog labor camp complex, was the co-organizer with Arseny V. Tishkov, head of the UPV 1st Special Department, of the dispatch of POWs to the Northern Railway camp. On 14 May 1940, Beria signed Order no. 0192, directing that prisoner labor build the North Pechora-Vorkuta Railway Line to increase coal transport from the Vorkuta region; 4,506 prisoners were sent there in May. On 9 June 1940, Chernyshov issued an order for restructuring the camps of the Krivoy Rog Basin in connection with sending 8,000 POWs to the Northern Railway camps.
