The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR decrees:
1. Free pregnant women convicts and women convicts who have young

children up to the age of seven from serving their sentences any further, except for those convicted for counterrevolutionary crimes, banditry, premeditated murder, robbery, [or] misappropriating socialist property a second time, as part of an organized group (gang) or on a large scale.
2. Order that all persons liberated by this decree from serving their sentences any further, in the event that they commit new crimes, will face the most severe sentence permitted by law.
