A commission composed of Nizovtsev, M. Bogdanov, Tsarev, Smirnov, Tsyganov, Tsesarsky, with the participation of first secretaries of appropriate ward committees, reviewed the cases of 1,610 former Zinovievites from January 1 to February 3, 1935. Of this number 654 persons were expelled from the party and exiled from Leningrad, 421 persons were posted to work in other areas, 265 were exiled from the Leningrad, and 270 were allowed to remain in Leningrad.

On February 13, 1935 Leningrad ward committees excluded 626 persons from the party. Between January 27 and February 17 365 persons were ordered to work outside Leningrad [by the ward committees].

On February 17, 1935 the party collegium of Leningrad Region reviewed 487 appeals. Of all appeals, expulsion from the party was confirmed in 425 cases, and restoration [to the party] in 5. [The original decisions] were changed to restoration in 54 cases, and to expulsion in 3.

In addition, a commission to vet employees of the city and regional party committees, the regional and city executive committees, the regional and city committees of the Komsomol, composed of Nizovtsev, M. Bogdanov, Voitas, S. Smirnov, Tsyganov, […] worked from December 25, 1934 through January 27, 1935.

[The commission] […] decided to dismiss from work 28 employees out of 78 vetted from the Regional Executive Committee, 82 out of 171 vetted at the Leningrad soviet, nine out of 35 at the Soviet Control Commission, 7 out of 17 at the Leningrad Planning Department, 19 out of 39 at the Regional Planning Department, and 22 out of 56 at the city and regional committees of the Komsomol.
